Acturial Work
Actuarial work requires a some background in math, statistics, economics, science and finance, but ultimately, actuaries have to pass examinations set forth by the Casualty Actuarial Society or the Society of Actuaries. Some start these exams while in college and complete the exams while working for an insurance or consulting firm. Many of these firms offer internships for actuarial students. College career placement centers can help with finding actuarial work.
