    Becoming a Manager

There are many different paths to becoming a manager. Many companies like Walmart for instance hire from within. If you are seeking to move up at work these are some steps to take. Find a mentor, take management training courses at work, and develop your communication and leadership skills by taking on more responsibility.

The other obvious ways to become a manager are to obtain the relevant business degrees, network, use your college career resource center, attend job fairs, join associations, and apply to jobs on our job board.
